Open your router's settings page to change your Wi-Fi name or password. Connect to your home Wi-Fi first, then tap an address below.

Opens your router in a new tab No passwords collected Remembers your router

1 Open your router

Tap a common address

Most home routers use one of these. Each opens in a new tab; if nothing loads, try the next one.

Or enter your router's address

Use the Router or Default gateway address from your phone or computer (how to find it).

You can paste a full address such as http://192.168.1.1.

Open my router

You sign in on your router's own page. Zerolink never asks for or sees your router password.

Find the right address

2 Where is my router address?

Your router's address is called the default gateway. Find it in your device's Wi-Fi settings:

Android phone

Open Settings → Wi-Fi, tap your connected network, then look for Gateway or Router (sometimes under Advanced).

iPhone or iPad

Open Settings → Wi-Fi, tap the ⓘ next to your network and find Router.

Windows

Open Command Prompt, type ipconfig and press Enter. Use the Default Gateway address, not your computer's own IPv4 address.

Mac

Open System Settings → Wi-Fi → Details on your network, then TCP/IP, and find Router.

Page not opening?

Try these four checks

  1. Use your main Wi-Fi. Not guest Wi-Fi. Pause any VPN, and on a phone turn off mobile data while you try.
  2. Type the exact address. Put it in the browser's address bar, not a search box. If it fails inside an app, open Chrome, Safari or Edge.
  3. Switch HTTP / HTTPS. Some routers only answer on one. If the browser warns about an insecure page, choose to continue: it is your own router.
  4. Page opens but login fails? Check the router sticker or ask your installer. Internet providers sometimes lock their routers.
Don't factory-reset your router just to reach this page.

A reset can erase your broadband settings and take you offline.

Router login questions

How do I open 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1?

Connect to your router’s Wi-Fi or Ethernet network, then open http://192.168.1.1/ or http://192.168.0.1/ in the browser address bar. If neither works, use the Router or Default Gateway address from your device’s network settings.

Is my local IP address the same as my router gateway?

Usually they are different. Your local IP identifies your phone or computer on the network. The default gateway is the router used to reach other networks. Use the gateway address to try the router admin page; an ISP can use a separate management address.

What are the default router username and password?

Some routers use admin as the username, but credentials depend on the model, firmware and installer. Check the router label or contact your provider. The administrator password may be different from your Wi-Fi password.

How can I change my Wi-Fi password?

Sign in to your router’s admin page, locate Wireless or Wi-Fi settings and update the network password. Save the change and reconnect your devices with the new password. The exact menu depends on your router.

Can My Router Login detect my gateway automatically?

This page offers common addresses and manual entry. It does not claim to discover your gateway. After an address works, you can confirm it and remember it in this browser for your next visit.
